Vice President of Commercial Effectiveness
Tom Wassel is currently Vice President of Commercial Effectiveness at TI Health.
Tom comes with a rich history of providing commercial analytics support to clients in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry.
In addition to running his own analytics consulting firm for 15 years, Tom worked as an employee of Astra-Merck, Astra Pharmaceuticals and AstraZeneca and as a consultant to various companies, including Janssen, Endo and McNeil Consumer Products. Tom’s work also includes supporting various data-analytic vendors in the pharmaceutical industry, including IMS America (IQVIA), Surveillance Data Inc. (SDI) and AlphaImpactRx.
Tom’s analytical background includes a deep level of experience in business process analysis and design, analytical systems and product design, business analytics architecture, promotion response measurement and optimization, DTC TV analysis, digital response analytics and demand forecasting. He is also an active data scientist and statistical programmer utilizing SAS, Python, R and other analytics software tools.
Tom’s current interests focus on using analytics to improve digital communications with HCPs. It’s about “creating the fuel and intelligence for smart omni-channel marketing systems.”
