TI Health wants to make it easier for our employees to stay active and connected as a team, by focusing on our physical and mental health. Remote work can be extra hard on our minds and bodies, with increased screen time indoors and less time to be physically active and away from our desks. We implemented a mobile meetings policy paired with a step goal challenge, hoping to motivate everyone to get moving. How often could we walk and talk each week? Could we collectively log our activities and our steps during the work day and still manage to get all of our work done?
Last week, we hit our collective goal and had a ton of fun along the way. 12.5 million steps! Enough to walk from NY to our California office and back. To celebrate our achievement, we donated $5,000 to charity in support of Best Friends Animal Society, The Trevor Project, and the American Diabetes Association.
